GEISTER—a Homage to the Disappearing is a play for the witching hour. It’s about saving a lost future. Also the feeling of being invisible and the anonymity of the masses whose political voice is no longer heard. We designed posters and flyers with an oversized, distorted title, which—stretched across the entire format—is only legible from a distance and remains shadowy. Each of the four different mediums feature a portrait of one of the four actors in the background of the letters. Strong blurring and grayscale have transformed the portraits into phantoms, anonymous agents.
